Brothers charged with murder

DURHAM Detectives say 25-year-old Marcelino Espinosa Guzman was found shot and stabbed to death beside a trash dumpster at an apartment complex at 1737 East Cornwallis Road after police went to a "shots fired" call.

It happened at 1:19 a.m. Thursday morning.

Police said they arrested two suspects in the area of Fayetteville Road and Belgreen Road. Isai Espinosa Ramirez, 23, of Exacta Lane in Raleigh and Abel Espinosa Ramirez, 21, of Southpoint Crossing Drive, Durham are charged with murder.

The brothers are cousins of the dead man. They are being held in the Durham County Jail without bond.
