The weapon?
A stiletto heel.
According to an arrest warrant obtained by ABC 11 Eyewitness News, police say Meyli Cristina Alvarez, 25, of Raleigh, used the shoe to strike Ivelisse Sansotta in the face.
As a result, police say the victim sustained a serious injury - requiring stitches to the upper lip.
There is no word whose stiletto was used in the alleged assault.
