They say a witness was able to give them a good description of the suspects, their vehicle and the direction they were traveling in.
Officers took 29-year-old Terrell Lamont McIntyre and 25-year-old Antonio Reginald McReynolds into custody and charged them with felony conspiracy and attempted breaking and entering.
Both suspects later bonded out of jail.
Officers say they picked up McIntyre earlier this month for a different break-in and also booked him in October on breaking and entering charges in Greenville.
A judge raised McIntyre's bond to $25,000 on Wednesday. If he makes it, he will be placed on pre-trial monitoring.
