An armed robbery at the Game Stop in Oak Creek Village at 4600 Chapel Hill Blvd. led to a police pursuit Saturday morning, police said.

The chase ended after the driver lost control and crashed into a tree.

The pursuit started at 10:18 a.m. Saturday after a squad car, responding to the armed robbery, tried to pull over what police said appeared to be a suspicious vehicle. According to officers on the scene, the driver and the passengers all appeared to be very nervous and uneasy as officers passed the car.

The pursuit lasted until the driver lost control while trying to pass other vehicles in the 5300 block of Fayetteville Road, police said. The car hit a tree before stopping. No one was injured in the accident.

Four people are in custody, police said. Three of the suspects were taken into custody at the crash scene. The fourth person was located after the K-9 unit tracked the suspect down.
