Mother, baby hit by car

A mother and her baby are hurt after getting hit by a car in Raleigh Monday night.

It happened at the intersection of Calvary Drive and Green Road just before 6 p.m.

A police report says 21-year-old Seville Keeton was pushing her 18-month-old daughter in a stroller across the street when she was hit by a vehicle headed south on Green Road.

It happened in a crosswalk. The accident report says the car had a green light, and the driver was unable to stop when she saw the mother and child.

According to the police, the baby was seriously hurt.

The accident is under investigation.
