Durham Co. helps ex-cons find jobs

DURHAM

The Durham County Criminal Justice Resource Center is holding a training session Wednesday for anyone who wants to apply for the Project Restore Vocational Training Program.

The program is a partnership with Durham Technical Community College and lasts 12 weeks. Participants attend classes for six weeks and then use their new skills to build and repair homes.

The next cycle of Project Restore begins in February. There is another information session Thursday and two in early January.
