Police say the shooting happened around 7 p.m. Saturday night. During an investigation Saturday police determined 18-year-old Risheem Robinson was one of the shooters. Risheem had been firing at the three individuals who were detained by police.
According to a police report, the shots originated in the common area in the mall outside of Best Buy inside of the mall. After recieving a call several law enforcement officers secured the scene. Following a lead officers found three black males running from the mall, one of the man was apprehended and another was located shortly after.
The third male, a 15-year-old juvenile was detained behind the Star City at Hilltop Plaza. All three were transported by police and questioned.
A 14-year-old and 16-year-old Murray Chamberlin were charged with resisting an officer. The 15-year-old was released after questioning Saturday night.
Police say they haven't found any guns yet. There was some damage inside the mall, to a wall and some glass doors.
Warrants have been issued for Risheem Robinson for four counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. Attempts were made to locate him, but police are still searching as of Sunday morning.
