Police say the 23-month-old was left unsupervised with another sibling in a parked car.
The child got out of the car and walked into the road.
A 1995 Pontiac driven by Crystal Lynn McLeod struck the child.
The extent of the toddler's injuries is unknown at this time.
McLeod was not injured.
A motor vehicle crash reconstruction investigation was conducted at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
