Police hunt church burglar

Police are asking for the public's help finding a man seen in three surveillance pictures.

They say he took a flat screen TV from Colonial Baptist Church on Tryon Road December 12.

The suspect came in through a side door during a Christmas program and walked around the building for about 30 minutes before taking the television from a wall in a Sunday school classroom.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 26-29 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, and 250 pounds. He was wearing a green sweatshirt, blue coat, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
