Intense fire displaces Durham family

A family was displaced after a raging fire destroyed their home early Saturday morning.It happened on Duke Street near police headquarters just after 1:00am Saturday.

The fire first started in the back of the home and quickly got out of control.

Firefighters were able to get the two people inside of the home out unharmed.

The Red Cross is helping them, while the cause remains under investigation.
