Store manager hurt in robbery

Police say they're asking for the public's help solving a violent robbery that left a man critically injured.

It happened just after midnight Saturday morning at a Dominos Pizza at 2001 Widewaters Parkway.

During the robbery, detectives say a 24-year-old store manager suffered blunt force trauma. They said they weren't yet sure what kind of weapon was used.

Kenneth "Kenny" Ring was taken to WakeMed where he was listed in critical condition.

An undermined amount of money was taken from the store. Police said they had no suspect information and want to talk to anyone who might help shed more light on what happened.
