Firefighters battle major house fire in Raleigh

Firefighters battled a major house fire here Saturday night.They were called to 7305 Fox Bluff Court just after 6:10pm.

Upon arrival, units witnessed heavy fire, and almost immediately went into a defensive firefighting mode.

Reinforcements were called in shortly after, and the fire was knocked down by about 7:30pm.

Fire officials say about 40 firefighters were needed to knock down the blaze.

They say the cause was accidental, likely a candle left burning near flammable material.

Two people were displaced. No injuries were reported.
