Two men arrested in Raleigh armed robbery

Two men are under arrest after police say they assaulted and robbed a man at gunpoint, all to steal $50.Police say Fredrick Lamont Winston, 19, of Raleigh and Travis McLean, 29, both threatened Levar Denkins with guns and robbed him.

Winston has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to robbery with a dangerous weapon, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury.

McLean has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to robbery with a dangerous weapon, and assault with a deadly weapon, serious injury.

Winston is being held on a $350,000 bond, and McLean is being held on a $500,000 bond. Both men are due in court on Monday at 9:00am.
