Members of Fort Bragg's 4th Psychological Operations Group's 3rd and 9th Battalions loaded at Pope AFB for the trip to Haiti Wednesday.

About 40 members of the units will assist in earthquake relief. They'll join the roughly three thousand soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division who have been in Haiti for weeks helping the country recover.

The troops have been getting food and water to earthquake victims - many of whom have lost their homes and their livelihoods.

Lt. Gen. Frank Helmick told reporters Wednesday the soldiers have been working hard in difficult conditions.
