Suspects rob Apex convenience store

Surveillance video from the Racing Mart robbery

Apex police are looking for two suspects who they say robbed a convenience store Wednesday night.The incident happened at the Racing Mart on South Salem Street in Apex around 10:15 p.m.

Authorities released surveillance video from the robbery on Friday.

It shows two men entering the Racing Mart and demanding money. One suspect was armed with a handgun and cash was taken from the register.

No one was injured during the incident.

The first suspect is described as a dark complexion African American man in his mid-to-late 20s, thin build and angular facial features with a long nose. He stands between 5' 10" to 6' tall, and has a close cut beard.

He was wearing a black zipper cotton hoodie jacket, black jeans, and black sneakers with white laces.

The second suspect is described as a medium to dark complexion African American man in his early-to-mid 20s with a thin build.

He was wearing a dark ski mask covering the lower portion of his facial area, grey, black and blue urban camo design pullover jacket with a large white hoodie with drawstrings, a bright pink skeleton hand print on the left front side of the jacket, a white and pink dolphin print on the back side of the jacket, multi-colored lettering above the dolphin print and dark baggie jeans with oversized back pockets. The oversized pockets had multi-colored vertical lines in them.
