Three charged for heroin trafficking, conspiracy

Three people are in custody in Wake County accused of trafficking, or conspiracy to traffic, heroin.Raleigh Police arrested Derrick Wayne Baxter, 39, of Durham, and charged him with trafficking opium or heroin and conspiring to traffic opium/heroin. Warrants show that Baxter, being held on a $100,000 bond, was found in possession of 4.70 grams of heroin.

Baxter is accused of working with another man, Walter Hart Jr., who was also charged with trafficking opium or heroin and conspiring to traffic opium/heroin. He is being held on a $100,000 bond as well.

Deborah Celeste Sullivan, 48, was also arrested, and charged with conspiring to traffic 4.70 grams of heroin. Sullivan is being held on a $25,000 bond.

All are due in court on Monday.
