Driver hits girl, keeps going

Garner police are looking for the driver who hit a teenage girl and then fled the scene.

It happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday on East Main Street at Carroll Drive. The teen's injuries are not life-threatening.

Police say, 16-year-old Dominique Ferrell of Raleigh , was walking in the 400 block of E. Main Street when she was struck by a blue, four door Honda with tinted windows.

Police say they received reports that the driver was a Hispanic male.

Anyone with information should contact the Garner Police Department. Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward of $250 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
