Deputies are looking for two men who burst into a home outside Smithfield and beat a disabled man with a metal baseball bat.

Detectives shared two surveillance pictures from the attack that happened February 15 with the media Wednesday.

The victim was lying in a hospital type bed in his home on Wildwood Lane when the two suspects forced their way into the house and attacked him. They took his wallet, keys, and prescription drugs.

Deputies say the men may have been involved in another break-in at the home six days earlier. The disabled man's home has been broken into four times since 2006. Anyone who can identify the suspects is asked to contact the Johnston County Sheriff's Office at (919) 989-5000.
