The shooting happened around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.
When officers arrived, they found a man dead inside Evans Mini Mart on South Alston Avenue. The cause of his death is not being released at this time, but the case is being investigated as a homicide.
Witnesses say a woman was also stabbed at the business, but that has not been confirmed by detectives.
