At about 9 p.m. March 14, Oscar Alejo, 22, was walking in the 6500 block Litchford Road when he was struck by a vehicle that did not stop and fled the scene.
He remains at WakeMed.
Police say they believe the hit-and-run vehicle was a red Pontiac G8 that likely has front end damage.
