Man uses false ID to get money from bank

Durham police are trying to identify a man they say used a false identity to take money from a bank account.

Police say the man used the victim's name, address and social security number to with $8,100 from the account. The money was withdrawn on February 3rd from a Bank of America branch in Durham and one in Chapel Hill.

Anyone who can identify the suspect can call Investigator Lear at 560-4440, ext. 29327 or CrimeStoppers at 683-1200.
