Police look for new clues in woman's disappearance

Raleigh police are trying to uncover new clues in the search for a woman who has been missing for over a year.

Investigators say they opened the case of Taveta Hobbs last month. According to search warrants, her estranged husband told police she abruptly left him and traveled to California in October 2008.

Hobbs' brother reported her missing nearly a year later. Police say her last known address in on Edgebury Rd. in Raleigh and she worked in Cary.

Detectives are checking her credit card and bank statements to see if there has been any activity during the past two years.
