Authorities say at some point the teen punched the man and jumped out of the moving vehicle to escape.
The teen was re-united with his Mom on Sunday. His mom was more than grateful to have him back safe.
"Thank you God, thank you God, thank God," the teen's mom screamed.
The man who stole the car was still on the run Sunday, and still has the stolen vehicle.
