RALEIGH --Two people were rescued from a burning apartment on Peyton Street in Raleigh Sunday evening. The fire left more than 20 people without homes.
The Red Cross was on scene to help displaced residents find a place to stay.
Fire officials say no one was seriously injured in the fire but that the blaze did cause significant damage to the third story of the complex.
Sources tell ABC11 Eyewitness News that the rest of the building is uninhabitable.
It is still not clear what caused the fire.
