Troubleshooter: Satellite radio

He called the company about going with a different plan that would save him $8 a month.

"When I contacted Sirius to switch plan, they offered me a plan to help reduce my money which I was ecstatic with," he explained.

That new plan meant new equipment.

"They actually offered to pay to have it installed to keep me as a customer," he said.

Sirius sent Guile a card to pay for the installation, but then he found out he needed specific equipment.

"Sirius offered to send me another card with a dollar value to use towards this product that I needed to purchase since they were out of stock to send me their own," he said.

So Sirius sent another card and the equipment was installed.

"When I called to have the card activated, the company said they were not going to honor it and activate the card because it was not meant to purchase product. However, Sirius said I could use it to purchase product, and I was in this big battle on how to get the matter resolved," said Guile.

He was stuck with a $100 bill for the equipment.

"I tried sending an e-mail, was not getting any replies back, not even anything that said my message had been received. That's when I turned to you guys for help," he said.

We got in touch with Sirius and a rep immediately got in touch with Guile, and agreed to cover the 100 dollars worth of charges for the parts so he could enjoy his Sirius radio.

"Thanks to all your help, they were able to get everything resolved and pushed up the chain," said Guile.
