Car crashes into school

LUMBERTON

Investigators said the collision happened on NC Highway 41 North around 8 a.m. One of the cars continued on into the school building. Two people in the cars were injured, but nobody in the school was hurt.

The injured were identified as 53-year-old Richard Sayler and 51-year-old Ronnie Sealey.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol said Saylor was pulling out of a parking lot onto Highway 41 when he was hit by Sealey. Saylor's car then came down the school driveway, over a flower bed, and into a glass wall at the front of the school.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital. Their condition is not known.

Troopers said Saylor would be charged with failure to yield.
