Two men, pregnant woman arrested for robbery

DURHAM Officers were called about a robbery at a home in the 200 block of South Alston Avenue around 8:30 a.m.

Two residents at the house told officers that two men and a pregnant woman entered the house, robbed the victims at gunpoint and then tied their hands and locked them in a closet. The victims were able to escape and call police.

Several minutes later, officers spotted two men and a woman matching the suspects' descriptions in the 400 block of Lakewood Avenue and arrested them. Officers recovered a firearm and several stolen items.

Investigators charged 18-year-old Jerone Holman, 18-year-old Kevin Powell and 24-year-old Brandy Leigh Riley with two counts of robbery with a firearm, two counts of second-degree kidnapping, one count of conspiracy and one count of felony breaking and entering.
