Police searching for robbery suspects

Durham police are trying to identify two men who robbed a Kangaroo convenience store

Durham police are trying to identify two men who robbed a Kangaroo convenience store on Holloway Street at gunpoint on March 3. Authorities say the men entered the store around 10 p.m. and took cash and cigarettes from the store as well as jewelry from an employee and a customer. One man pulled a gun from his pocket, told the clerk it was a robbery and then fired one shot into the ceiling.

The first suspect is described as a black man in his late teens to early 20s, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a toboggan, a flight jacket and sneakers.

The second suspect was described as a black man in his late teens to early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches with a slight to medium build. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a toboggan, denim pants and sneakers.
