ABC11 Eyewitness News spoke with a man whose father works at the plant. He says his father told him that all the employees inside the building were able to get out and no one was hurt. He says part of the roof collapsed while they were running production.
It is unclear at this time what caused the mishap and the extent of the damage.
According to CertainTeed's Web site, it is a North American manufacture of building materials that includes roofing, vinyl and fiber cement siding, trim, fence, railing, decking, along with other products.
It is headquartered in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania and has about 70 facilities throughout the US and Canada including the plant in Oxford.
