Congregation returns to Nobles Baptist after fire

SIMS Last week, lighting sparked a fire destroying much of the more than 100 year old Nobles Baptist Church in Sims.

Nobles Baptist plans to hold Sunday services at the Family Center, a building next to the burned out chapel.

"Everybody's welcome to come and join the fellowship, because it's not the building that makes the church, it's the people," Church Member Diana Coley said.

Church leaders say they plan to rebuild their sanctuary.
