The team meeting was scheduled well before the scandal erupted.
It is a standard end of summer meeting for players before they go on break for a couple of weeks before the beginning of fall workouts.
No details from the meeting have been released.
Marvin Austin remains the focus of the investigation as the NCAA looks into possible gifts he may have received from agents.
Thirteen players have been interviewed.
Durham native Westlye Saunders, a senior tight end for the South Carolina Gamecocks, took a trip with Austin to Miami this past spring.
Both players are under investigation by the NCAA for possible rules violations.
The players are among a group that has grown to include student athletes from North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida, all of which have acknowledged that the NCAA is looking at their athletic departments.
Once the probe is complete, the NCAA will rule whether Austin or any other players broke rules and will be ruled ineligible.
It will then be up to the school to hand out suspensions.
