Suspect fires gun at three pedestrians

Carrboro police are looking for a suspect in a drive-by shooting that happened early Thursday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 2 a.m. on Jones Ferry Road near Davie Road.

Three people were walking along Jones Ferry when they say a vehicle approached them and someone inside the vehicle fired a gun at them. One person was hit and treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored, four door car with tinted window. Police have not provided a description of the suspect.
