School bus involved in Wake Forest crash

No one was injured in a crash involving a Wake County school bus Monday morning.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. at the NC 98 bypass and Heritage Lake Road.

According to Wake County Public School spokesperson Michael Evans, bus number 149 transports special needs children. Two children were on board when a car hit the bus from behind.

No one was injured.

The wreck happened around 6:30 a.m., and the bus was able to proceed to school as scheduled.

Police have not said if charges are pending.
