Two more teens arrested in Durham murder

DURHAM

Officers arrested 18-year-olds Sherwin Bilal Archie and Darrius Lavale Tyson Thursday night. Both teens, who are from Durham, are charged with first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, attempted armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Both men are being held in the Durham County Jail without bond.

The victims, 33-year-old Bernardo Pounce and 40-year-old Antoney Garcia Dominguez, were shot just before 10:30 p.m. on August 9 in the 2900 block of Chapel Hill Road. Pounce died and Dominguez suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Earlier this week, officers also arrested 18-year-old Deandre Roosevelt Rucker of Durham and a 15-year-old. Rucker is charged with murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon. He is being held in the Durham County Jail without bond.

The 15-year-old is being held at the Durham County Youth Home.
