Anti-sexting app for smartphones

It's called "Mobile Media Guard" and it gives parents access to the images on their kids' phones.

New dad Craig Spenner developed the app after hearing about "sexting" horror stories "It just seemed like there were stories after stories of these kids who would take inappropriate pictures, and they'd end up on the internet and their lives would be ruined."

Here's how the app works. Once a picture is taken or sent to your child's phone, you'll be able to see it on the Mobile Media Guard website; it looks just like an email inbox.

Right now, it's available for most Droid and Blackberry phones.

A one-year subscription costs $49.99, which comes out to less than $5 a month.
