Local orthodontist trades cash for your halloween stash

What could be better than enjoying your hard-earned Halloween candy? How about trading it in for cash?

Gladwell Orthodontics is hosting its second annual Halloween Candy Buy-Back event to help parents encourage their children to avoid eating so many sugary treats. Dr. Jason Gladwell, a local orthodontist, will pay each child a dollar for every pound of candy brought into his office at the Heritage Health Park located at 2824 Rogers Road in Wake Forest. The four-day event will be held Nov. 1 - 4 and candy sellers may stop by anytime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

As an added bonus, all of the candy collected will be donated to our service men and women overseas to thank them for their dedication to our country and give them a sweet reminder of home.
