Kelly Elizabeth Rose, 37, was arrested after deputies say she called 911 Monday to request an ambulance come to a home at 448 Oakridge Duncan Rd. Fuquay-Varina.
Rose reported a man had been hurt.
When EMS arrived, emergency workers discovered 33-year-old Steven Neva Cain deceased at the residence.
He had wounds to his chest and leg.
Rollins didn't elaborate on the injuries or the relationship between Cain and Rose.
She was being held in the Harnett County Jail without bond.
