Police: Men shot each other at Durham convenience store

DURHAM It happened in the 2900 block of Holloway Street around 5 p.m.

When authorities arrived, they found two men who had been shot. Both men were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say one person was shot in the stomach and another in the head at point-blank range.

Investigators identified the man as Christopher Derrick Judd, 22, of Durham and Daniel Terrell Lucas, 25, of Raleigh Thursday, and said it appears they shot each other.

On Monday, police said Judd died as a result of his injuries.

No charges have been filed at this time and detectives are still investigating.
