Walmart is now hiring for its new store near Triangle Towne Center in Raleigh.

The company has started interviewing candidates at a temporary hiring center in Morrisville. There are more than 400 jobs available.

Walmart managers say demand for the job openings has been high.

Manager Turi Cason said, "Whether it is part time or full time work, they just really want to work."

One applicant told ABC11 Eyewitness News it has been a challenge to find a job recently.

The hiring center is at the Morrisville Outlet Mall at 1001 Airport Boulevard. It is currently open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The new store will open after the holidays, but a majority of the new associates will begin work in December.
