This one happened at the Rent America store at 2000 Avondale Drive.
Police said a stolen Jeep Cherokee was crashed into the store, and thieves then apparently took items from inside.The store rents furniture, appliances, electronics and computers.
The Jeep was found less than a mile away at State Street and East Ellerbee Street.
This is at least the fourth similar incident in Durham in just the past month.
Cold weather might be aiding crooks. Police said they think thieves are stealing vehicles that are being warmed up.
