Dunn police say a man took women's underwear and other items from a Roses Department Store while brandishing a gun at a witness who tried to stop him.

Ebbie Jerrell Quick, 22, of Bailey Road, Coats, is charged with communicating threats, assault by pointing a gun, and larceny.

According to a report in the Dunn Daily Record, witnesses said Quick pushed a shopping cart of merchandise from the store and pulled a gun on a man who went after him.

Police were called, and Quick was found hiding under the porch of a nearby home.

Two pair of black women's panties and four pair of thong underwear in red, pink, black and zebra-striped were found in the cart along with other household items.
