We'll see more clouds than sun over the next few days, but we'll likely only see a passing shower on Wednesday, which is some unexpected good news after it was initially believed the day would be a bit wetter.

THIS AFTERNOON: Mostly cloudy and cool with a high of 67. Patchy fog and even a few sprinkles are possible along the coast.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and damp with areas of fog and a touch of drizzle. The low will be around 60.

TOMORROW: Cloudy at first with areas of fog and patchy drizzle, then clouds and a few sunny breaks with a shower or thunderstorm in the area. The high will be around 74.

FRIDAY: Clouds with periods of rain and, in spots, a thunderstorm. Watch for flash flooding, and this could lead to a very difficult evening commute for some. The high will be around 68.

SATURDAY: Clouds and some sunshine, becoming warmer in the afternoon with a high of 75. Rain may linger early to the east and northeast.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with a shower or two possible and a high of 72.

MONDAY: Cooler with occasional rain and drizzle. The high will be around 67.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny with a high of 70.

WEDNESDAY: Times of clouds and sunshine with a high of 72.
