DURHAM --All lanes of Interstate 40 have reopened after two people were sent to the hospital with injuries from a wreck near Durham.Two of three lanes of traffic were shut down for more than hour as authorities worked to get two people out of a flipped over car.
Authorities believe a Honda Civic was traveling eastbound when another car pulled out in front of it on Sunday afternoon. Police say the Civic swerved and rolled at least three times.
Both the driver and passenger were taken to UNC Hospital, and their conditions were not immediately available.
Authorities reopened all lanes late Sunday afternoon.
