Durham bomb squad called to suspicious package

Durham County Sheriff's Office bomb squad was called about a suspicious package at West Main Street and West Morgan Street around 10:30 a.m. Monday.The package was reportedly at the Duke University Press, near Brightleaf Square. Durham Police Department spokeswoman Kammie Michael says the package was in an office on the second floor.

Police haven't said exactly what the package was, but by 12:15 p.m. they determined it had no explosives inside.

Further details about the incident have not been released.
