Raleigh police searching for robbers

RALEIGH The robbery happened last Friday around 12:45 a.m. at the Circle K on Lake Boone Trial.

Raleigh Police Department Director of Public Affairs Jim Sughrue says two men entered the convenience store and robbed it at gunpoint. After the crime, the men fled on foot.

The first suspect was wearing a gray hoodie with black pants, a white mask and white sneakers. He stands about 5' 6" tall and weighs 180-200 pounds.

The second suspect was wearing a bluish-purple hoodie that may have had discolorations. He was also wearing light-colored blue jeans, black shoes and a white mask. The suspect was also carrying a black shoulder bag. He stands 5' 2-4" tall and weighs 120-130 pounds.

Authorities say they are investigating the possibility that the suspects may have committed similar crimes in Durham recently.
