Man robbed in front of bank

Authorities in Durham are searching for a suspect that robbed a man in front of a bank Wednesday.The incident happened just after 9 a.m. at the Bank of America on North Duke Street.

Officers say a man told them he was walking in the parking lot of the bank when a man approached him and robbed him at gunpoint.

The suspect then fled behind the bank on foot and may have gotten on a scooter. The bank was not robbed.

The suspect is described as an African American man with a light complexion, who has a medium build and stands 5' 8" tall. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, dark clothing and a helmet.
