The Tar Heels have signed 6-foot-9 forward Desmond Hubert to a letter of intent, a late addition to bolster a front line with only two experienced returnees.
Hubert averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and six blocks as a senior. He'll join a frontcourt that includes Tyler Zeller and John Henson -- who both decided to return to school instead of declaring for the NBA draft -- and touted freshman James McAdoo.
Hubert is a three-star prospect and the nation's No. 13 center, according to Scout.com.
