This week, crews are expected to start installing banners around this parking garage on McDowell Street.
The nine-story deck was supposed to be surrounded by an l-shaped building with stores and offices, but the economy put those plans on hold.
Three NC State students designed the 15-banner mural that will cover the gray concrete walls of the parking deck.
The process is expected to take a couple of weeks.
