Man arrested despite broken camera

GOLDSBORO

Sergeant G.N. Lynch with the Goldsboro Police Department said members of the SEU-Street Level Task Force installed a surveillance camera in the 800 block of North William Street last week after copper thefts.

On Monday, they found the camera destroyed, but were still able to recover images from it.

Using information from the camera, they arrested 49-year-old Randy C. Parsons of Goldsboro.

He's charged with breaking and entering, possession of burglary tool, larceny, injury to personal property, and trespassing.
