Sanford man arrested for murder

SANFORD, N.C. Investigators were called to 68 Gabby Lane in Sanford just before 8:00 p.m. Saturday in reference to a deceased person.

When they arrived, they found Tammy Lynne Gaster, 46, dead, and determined her death was a homicide.

Early Sunday morning, police arrested Christopher Wayne Dixon, 25, and charged him with murder.

He is being held at the Harnett County Detention Center with no bond.
